I have wide experience in various environmental charities, especially environmental education activities. On behalf of the Friends of Green Association, I have participated in China's Civil Society Grassroots Media Conference. I have also worked as a planner and organizer for the environmental NGO, "Friends of the Green."

We aim to host successfully the first Tianjin Environmental Protection Music Festival in 2012, and turn it into a popular annual event in China’s musical and environmental calendars. By tapping into the mobilising and inspirational power of music, the event will communicate an important message about sustainability and individual action to a vast audience in a memorable and fun setting. The festival will also provide a platform for NGOs, eco-entrepreneurs and environmental protection agencies to connect with the public and each other.

This will involve a number of eye-catching initiatives to generate media coverage for the festival. For instance, we will give tickets to people who collect and recycle a fixed number of plastic water bottles, provide booths at the festival for environmental and community organizations, decorate the stage with sculptures made from scrap materials, hold charity auctions, invite environmentalists to address the crowds, and feature DJs and bands who perform music with a green theme. Tianjin’s Creative Industry Park is providing the venue and promotional support.
It is hard to summarize my feelings in a few sentences. I was very impressed by the training offered by the E-idea project and its professional team. During the process of proposal submission, British Council and LRQA staged a series of training sessions, including a face-to-face one-day training workshop and four online webex training sessions. The training sessions have broadened our thinking, and following the guidance, we have re-designed our project.
